Organic Isn’t Just What We Do. It’s Who We Are.

At Terra Nostra Organics, organic agriculture isn’t one part of our business. It’s the foundation of everything we do.

We are a global supplier dedicated exclusively to certified organic ingredients. While much of the ingredient industry operates across both conventional and organic markets, we have chosen a different path: a company built entirely around organic agriculture.

We believe organic farming is fundamental to a healthier food system, stronger agricultural communities, and a more sustainable future.

From our offices in Palo Alto, California, Guadalajara, Mexico, and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, we connect organic producers around the world with food manufacturers seeking quality, reliability, and long-term partnerships.

Organic First. Always.

Our commitment begins with certified organic agriculture.

We don’t treat organic as a product category, a marketing trend, or an alternative to conventional ingredients. It is our starting point and the standard behind every ingredient we supply.

We believe in going further, which is why we work with additional certifications such as Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, and Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC).

But we also believe that sustainability claims should be backed by credible standards. For us, regenerative agriculture begins with certified organic farming and builds upon it through additional commitments to soil health, animal welfare, and social fairness.

It’s a straightforward philosophy: Start with organic. Build from there.

Our Roots Run Deep.

Terra Nostra Organics was founded in 2023 by Hendrik Rabbie, whose connection to organic agriculture began long before the company was established.

Growing up in the Netherlands, Hendrik was introduced to the organic industry through his father, an early pioneer who founded Fertilia, a brand offering certified organic products ranging from pasta and coffee to beer. He later founded Tradin Organic, helping develop the international organic ingredients trade.

Inspired by this background and bringing decades of industry experience, Hendrik founded Terra Nostra with a vision of building an independent, entrepreneurial ingredient company dedicated entirely to organic agriculture.
