Farid was privileged to grow up in a family where food was highly deliberated and prioritized. Growing up, he remembers his grandmother’s remarkable cuisine and extensive repertoire, and the consignments of EVOO his father would receive directly from Tuscany.
It was in Morocco that Farid discovered what would become his passion – in the form of cold pressed oils. Farid managed an organic certified facility and exported oils widely in the European and Worldwide markets.
Now living in Quebec, Canada, Farid loves to play tennis in the evenings and enjoys spending time with his kids at the weekend doing simple things like sledding down snowy slopes in the winter or strolling around the old town and getting ice cream.
